May 1, 2006: Yes, it's me. Nope, you ain't seeing things. And nope, I haven't updated this page at all. I'm just forcing myself to get back in the game. I'm still collecting figures, but obviously these days it goes just beyond the Bandai figures from 1995. Jazwares has come out with a lot of them, so upon the new renovation, this page will combine with the other MM collectibles, and price guides will be axed. I'll have more later. Stay tuned.
Prices will only be stated as MIP (Mint in Package) or Loose. As far as future updates are concerned, I will try and get in one update per season. I've got other priorities to take care of, but I will do my best!

NOTICE! PLEASE READ THIS
None of these figures are for sale. THIS PAGE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. If you eMail me with that stupid question "Are your figures for sale?", it will go ignored.
Please do not ask me where to get them. Your guess is as good as mine. All I can recommend are newspaper ads, garage sales, or internet auctions. I will ignore eMails that ask where you can find the action figures. The most successful way to get figures is off the popular auction site of eBay. Click here to see what Mega Man merchandise is up for bidding. You will usually see American figures listed. |
ATTENTION BOMBMAN OWNERS: In Tomart's Action Figure Encyclopedia, it's stated that Bomb Man was pulled from the shelves after the Oklahoma City bombing in April 1995, the same time that these figures were released. So if you have one, either loose or in package, hold on to it. I don't think it's affected the value, since they're in the same range as the others. But you never know about the future. |
The following figures and vehicles were produced and released in 1995. They were in retail toy stores through a portion of 1996, and were then discontinued.
 |
These were sold in various pairs. I made sure I got a whole set, which meant getting duplicates. I gave all the dupes to my other Mega Man Freak buds, and now I've got one complete set. I've grouped them based on their teams in the cartoon.

The Lost Figures:
(This section is strictly rumor-based, and cannot be held accountable for misrepresentation of any sort.)
Some of you may remember the cancellation of the Mega Man series on TV. They featured one episode (#27 - Dangerous Dollies) of the third season in 1997 and then quit. If you're lucky, you may still find reruns on certain stations, and also official videos of the cartoons that were released.
Shortly after the series cancellation, I learned that more Mega Man figures were in line to be on the market. The two-inch figures included all Robot Masters from Mega Man 2 (NES), and a Bass (Forte) figure. I'm curious as to why they had Bass, since we had never seen him in the 27 episodes featured. He was probably in one of the cancelled episodes, DOH! There were also more 6" figures that were scheduled but cancelled. I don't know which robots they were planning, but it's likely that they were ones featured several times in the cartoons. The biggest mystery is a 6" Mega Man X figure, which was allegedly released in extremely limited quantities as a test product. It was also cancelled, but there's supposedly still a FEW Mega Man X American figures out there. I hate to think about what I'd spend if I ever got the opportunity to buy one. ^_^
You'll see to the right that I was able to grab some prototype pictures on figures that never made it out of the production line. You'll see the Land Blazer (#2740) that was used in 2 episodes of the series. It was also listed in a 1997 price guide, but I never saw it, otherwise I would have bought it right away. Obviously it was a prototype. Below that is a Deluxe Mega Man figure, which had light-up parts and was bigger than the other figures, although I don't know by how much.
If ANYONE out there has a Land Blazer, the rare American (not Japanese) Mega Man X figure, or any other non-common figure, let me know, and maybe we can barter so this page can rightfully be updated. If you don't want to sell what you have, I will gladly accept photos of your prize, and I'll post it with your name as a credit.
For Japanese Collectibles, as well as some off-the-wall American merchandise, please visit my Rockman/Miscellaneous page.
